MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of Turning Point Ministries is to lead the world to worship God through serving, loving, evangelizing, and disciplining people.

As a Body of Believers we are committed to:

Belief in Jesus Christ as God incarnate and the only way to salvation.

Pure worship.

Exemplifying the fullness of the Kingdom of God to a lost generation.

Loving one another.

Maturing the Body of Christ.

Raising the next generation as a Godly seed to spread the Gospel to the world.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Scriptures: We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is inerrant in the original writings.

God: We believe that there is only one true and living God existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ: We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ who is both God and man.

Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells, instructs, empowers, encourages, convicts, and guides all who have believed in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Man: We believe that man is the direct creation of God, body, soul, and spirit.

Salvation: We believe that all who, in faith, receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior are born again by the Holy Spirit and thus become the children of God.

Satan: We believe that Satan was originally created as a perfect being. He rebelled against God and as a result he became depraved along with a host of angels who fell with him.

The Church: We believe that the New Testament church is a local body of believers with Christ as their head and the Holy Spirit as their guide. The Church is to be governed and directed by Jesus’ sovereign gifts to the church in the form of set ministry men and women to equip the saints to do the work of the ministry.

Ordinances: We believe that the local church observes two ordinances, baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
