An unbelievable sense of freedom and peace accompanies being in God&#8217;s will.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Surrendering to God is not acknowledging defeat so much as it is acknowledging that God&#8217;s plan for our lives is better than our plans. The Bible tells us &#8220;Trust in the <span class=\"sc\">Lord<\/span> with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.&#8221; (Proverbs 3:5-6).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/tpworship.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/surrender.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-474 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/tpworship.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/surrender.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tpworship.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/surrender.jpg 400w, https:\/\/tpworship.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/surrender-300x188.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Surrendering to God is acknowledging that we have fallen short of God&#8217;s standard and the punishment for that is eternal separation from God. Since every person born sins, the punishment God mandates applies to all men (and women). When Christ died for us He paid the price for our sins. This sacrifice opens the way to a restored life now and eternally.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">It can be difficult to acknowledge our wrongdoings and ask for forgiveness. It can be humiliating and even shameful to consider, but it shouldn&#8217;t be. God&#8217;s grace is so vast we can not conceive it. There is absolutely nothing you have done that surprises God. His grace and acceptance are unconditional once you accept Jesus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">TO RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST INTO YOUR HEART, YOU NEED TO DO THE FOLLOWING FIVE THINGS:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">1.\u00a0<strong>ADMIT<\/strong> your spiritual need and that you\u2019re a sinner in need of a Savior.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">2.<strong>\u00a0REPENT<\/strong>\u00a0and be willing to turn from your sin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">3.\u00a0<strong>BELIEVE<\/strong>\u00a0that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose again.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">4.\u00a0<strong>RECEIVE,<\/strong> through prayer, Jesus Christ into your heart and life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">5. <strong>Commit<\/strong> to living the rest of your life for Him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Christ Jesus says,\u00a0\u201cBehold, I stand at the door and knock.
